our resources
In most of our teaching materials we recommend additional resources for use. These are not compulsory, but will vary pace and enhance learning, providing a much better experience for the pupil. A multi-sensory approach to learning benefits pupils much more than simple pencil-on-paper work.
Resources are supplied to you in digital format as part of your KATS system. They are printed as per instructions included with each file, laminated and cut into individual pieces. Many resources are specifically written to enhance a particular teaching set, so we recommend using our resources.

There are only two companies with whom we have any association. These are not-for-profit arrangements.

our computer programme - the heart of your business
Our KATS system is web based and is your best friend when working with a larger number of pupils. It is your gateway to our programme and assists in the preparation of suitable materials for each pupil. Sheets for completion and all associated teaching guidelines, lesson plans and answers are printed 'on demand' using your own printer (we recommend a colour laser for best results). All individually prepared sheets are printed with the pupil's name and the date, ensuring that the pupil and parent knows the sheets are 'just for them'.
KATS tracks the work history for every pupil and produces useful management tools such as work history graphs, tracking sheets and attendance registers. This helps with the day-to-day business management and also provides material that can be used as the basis for providing feedback to parents.
All types of licence include any updates to existing materials.
The KATS system is backed up to our servers so your data is safe.
Developed in conjunction with a group of teachers who hate technology - it is easy to use! It also comes with context-sensitive help functions and a user manual.
Workshops
Key to our MagiKats Tuition Centres are our workshops. These are usually heavily regulated, but as a MagiKats licensee, you are able to emulate the key elements of our approach, without the restrictions.
Included in your package is training in some of the key principles we follow in a MagiKats workshop – such as small group work, discussion instead of dictation and individual programmes for individual people.
There is no doubt that our materials, coupled with our basic educational style are the key elements to our success – no amount of marketing skill would be able to mask a failing programme. As a MagiKats licensee you have the opportunity to bring the fundamental elements of our programme to children and teenagers in your area, whilst retaining full control over how, where and when you run your business.
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED?
A computer or laptop, connected to a printer (ideally a colour laser)
The usual classroom materials (pencils, erasers, dictionaries etc.) - each teaching set provides a list of items which will be needed to complete the work
